At least Marshy turned up, unlike one of our classic group who forgot to enter! ( ......and he had the holeshot and was in the lead when the mechanical gremlins struck!) Some great photos's on Jims site, unfortunately none of my brother on his head in turn 1 after trying to out brake the whole field! Hopefully we can get to the ride day on the 11th at Days Rd.

Andy's bike could be a bit rich - first time on methanol. It seemed Ok when I rode it at home Saturday but it was warmer then- actually felt faster than mine but a bit pipier...Its jetted the same as mine but has the M1 barrell with extra ports and also the pipe is different. Hopefully we'll get to the ride day on the 11th and sort it out, ready for some good racing at round 3. If you look at Jim's pics from the start line of the 75/85 all powers we must have almost killed the starter and Keachy with all the smoke! Sure smells good though! see DT-R2-B-686

Steve, been away for the school holidays. Andy is running a Retro Rocket pipe, whereas mine has a DG - jetting is the same. We didn't make it Sunday to the ride day, will have to sort it out at the next race on the 8th. Make sure you get your entry in this time!!!!

Huh ....I just run an old dunger M3 pipe I found in the shed. As for jetting no idea! Never pulled it apart since Neville Lush set it up back 2002. ...uh yeah thks for the reminder...almost forgot about entering again. Just so long as it doesnt rain.......
