Is it critical to have the right colour numbers??? Do I need to change my numbers because I have changed age group? I also have a new bike and it would be more convenient to have different coloured stickers.

IF you are racing you need to use the colours and backgrounds as per the MOMS. IF you do not you may be excluded or protested out, plus its a bugger for the start line and lap scorrs to see which class you should be entered and scored for.
ITs prity easy to get it right, whats class are you running in.

Just check the MOMS bible page 94, section 12.6.3.2 it's very clear.
