Rob, im not on the committee, so i didnt do the regs, but the way i read it - is there is only 1 ( one) classic class and thats an ALL in PRe 85 period cut off and its all Powers. PRoblem is they dont understand the differance in Disk brakes and water cooled, so im guessing that will be a Forks up and youll get bikes entered that are technically not MA approved for Pre 85 but because the compleince plate says so they will let them ride. So you get one RIDE and thats Event (A) IF i can get my 07 YZ250 pipe fixed and give it a run before hand, i might go along and ill take a pre 85 for a run with me, otherwise ill sit it out. So the trophy is all yours

But presumably we can ride class C as well on the 125's and you could ride D as well on the 250; for an extra ride? I am not clear on what is the difference between C and E ( besides +25cc for 2 strokes) and D and F? ie what is the actual technical difference between "solo" and "modern pro"? I thought "modern pro" is basically 1985 on, covered on page 194 in dirt track classes 20.7.0.1, and "solo" is from the pre 85 classic section per pp 162 18.2.2.1 Anyway there's plenty of time to clarify it... entries don't close until the 1st of October - we have to survive Griffith first!!!!

Aww Marshy your no fun. A couple a years ago pre 74 and pre 84 were run together and before that they used to stick classic and moderns together. Nothing more satisfying than sticking it up and passing someone on a newer bike....especially a modern. ;D

Yer like i said the way i read it ( and im sure thats how they have done it) is its all ALLPowers - PRe 85 class. For some reason its alway about giving juniors 15 classes so they can all ride in them 5 times, not about seniors who actually pay there bills and MA's small whee,l big wheel, 65, 85, aircooled, where does it stop ?
